Aesop Spring Florals 2022

| Invasive species floral installation

Sustainable installation using foraged invasive species from Griffith Park and Los Angeles River. An immersive installation was created to bring the conversation of invasive species to the audience.

Invasive species are not good for the ecosystems and can cause the extinctions of native plants and animals. Annually, California also has wildfires due to many reasons such as drought and heat caused by the climate change. Wild mustard flowers, when dried from the heat, are basically like adding branches to the wildfires, fueling them.
